Vienna - 15 December, 2003
To the President of the United States of America, the Honorable George W. Bush
Dear Mr. President:
FINALLY, JUSTICE IS DONE!
The dictator and tyrant Saddam Hussein is captured and being now a prisoner, after 8 month of intensive manhunt. You and the American people must feel now very relived after Saddam Hussein is in custody, so are the feelings of the free Iraqi people and the entire free world. It was the best that could happen to the freedom loving world before closing this year 2003.
I want to congratulate you, your administration, and especially the American man and woman in uniform, the allied forces, and the Iraqi people for bringing this evil to a final end. 20 years of Saddam Hussein´s regime of terror and the suffering of the Iraqi people is gone forever.
With this important event now, your administration must speed up even more to build a free Iraq. I'm hoping more nations will be involved in doing this job quickly.
After you ended the war officially in April this year in Iraq, still many hundreds of Americans, allied forces and Iraqis got killed for hunting the man who was charged with the crime against his own people: atrocities!"You did right when you gave orders to intervene militarily in Iraq and to destroy this evil Iraqi regime and to free the Iraqi people.
It is amazing to me how much your country still sacrifices your American man and woman in uniform to protect the freedom loving world from tyrants. In the past month I also noticed how much again you were criticised for starting the war against the evil regime in Iraq, when countless Americans and other nationalities got killed during the past month by international terrorist groups operating in Iraq.
Now the world can see clearly that the human sacrifices offered in the Iraq conflict made it possible to capture the dictator Saddam Hussein.
Also, as long as dictators remain in power the necessities of war will always be imminent. May the capture of the late tyrant Saddam Hussein send a clear message to all still existing dictators in this world!
Now, lets go with more determination to capture Bin Laden and bring him to justice too!
I also believe the Middle East process for peace has now a much greater chance after the capture of Saddam Hussein.
Merry Christmas and a happy new year 2004!
God bless you and this great Nation of America.
Sincerely,
Wolfgang Schawaller
